Web System based on the SCRUM Methodology to Optimize the Buying and Selling Experience in a Cinematographic Company
Main Article Content
Abstract
The present project aims to streamline the buying and selling experience in a film company, presenting a detailed process of developing a web system using the agile SCRUM methodology. The study consists of four key stages, from identifying related processes to the definitive implementation of the program.
The development of the web application was divided into sprints, each focused on specific aspects such as user management, purchase management, and report generation. Various technologies were used, from Laravel/Breeze to TypeScript and React, demonstrating a modern comprehensive approach to system construction.
The economic evaluation of the project reveals its financial viability, supported by indicators such as Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit/Cost Ratio, and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). In the project monitoring and control stage, techniques such as the story points method and Planning Poker were applied to estimate task distribution. Additionally, a Kanban board was implemented on Trello to facilitate visual tracking of progress.
Finally, the results section highlights the successful implementation of the system, showcasing interfaces such as product registration, the purchasing process, and the shopping list, supported by load tests with JMeter that demonstrate efficiency in handling concurrency and significant improvements in response speed. The introduction of agile practices such as Sprint Review and Planning Poker has strengthened collaboration and improved the system's adaptability, demonstrating the effectiveness of SCRUM implementation in streamlining development and enhancing the management experience in the film company.
