Reestructuración de la Cartera de Negocios: Revisión de la Literatura

Resumen

La estrategia corporativa de reestructuración de cartera de negocios (RCN) ha sido muy poco investigada en América Latina, al contrario de lo que ha sucedido en los países anglosajones y europeos. El objetivo de este trabajo es, por lo tanto, realizar una investigación exploratoria de la literatura relacionada con esta temática, para reconocer las contribuciones teóricas desarrolladas, identificar tanto los consensos en la literatura de RCN como las prioridades y las tendencias actuales de su investigación. A partir de aquí, se plantearán los nuevos desafíos relacionados, para América Latina, con el estudio de la RCN. De acuerdo a los resultados encontrados, las características del entorno en donde se implanta la RCN pueden condicionar los distintos resultados de esta estrategia. Así, las empresas multinegocio de Latinoamérica han aumentado el reenfoque de sus actividades con el fin de reducir costos de transacción producto de diversificaciones excesivas.
