Author Guidelines
Manuscript format for submission
- Articles must be original, unpublished and not under evaluation or approved for publication in other journals. INVESTIGATIO takes advantage of the good practices to promote integrity in publications and research stipulated by The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in https://publicationethics.org/.
- We receive articles in Spanish or English, which belong to one of the categories of contributions described in the journal's section
- The Editorial Board of INVESTIGATIO reserves the right to decide on the publication of the works, as well as on the number and the section in which they will appear.For evaluation and final selection, articles will be submitted to the double-blind arbitration system by external evaluators. The process is detailed in the "About the magazine" section included in "About" (Main Menu).

- The authors must have a postgraduate level (Master's or PhD), be teachers, researchers, and experts in the field. They must make sure to fully populate their profile as an author on the OJS

Manuscript format
Information to be included on the first page
Title: It must be concise (less than 20 words), informative and consistent with the overall purpose of the study. The use of abbreviations should be avoided. It must be
included in bold; the first letter of each relevant word must be capitalized. The title must be provided in Spanish and English. Example:

Effects of Depression on Worker Well-being: The Modulator Role of Work Social Suport
Name of authors and affiliations: Add the full name of each author and the affiliation of each using numbering. Provide full affiliation Institution, city and country.
*Corresponding author: Clearly indicate (using an asterisk) who will be responsible for receiving and responding to correspondence. This responsibility includes answering all questions of the editor and reviewers about the manuscript.

Abstract
A concise abstract is required. It should consider all sections of the manuscript: introduction, objectives, methods, results, discussion and conclusions. It does not include references. Abbreviations should be avoided or their meaning indicated within the summary text. The abstract should not be longer than 150 words and should be included in Spanish and English.
Key words
Immediately after the summary include five to eight keywords. Sort the keywords alphabetically and separate each with semicolons. Keywords must be added in Spanish and English.
Manuscript text
Write main subtitles that divide the manuscript (Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements, and References) in bold and centered on the left.
Mathematical formulas and statistical indices must be written in italics. Preferably, for equations, use the Word equation editor.
Tables
Send the tables in editable format, do not insert them as an image. Insert each table after it is quoted in the text. List the tables consecutively. Please avoid drawing vertical lines on tables. Place the title of the table above it, use an informational title. The presentation of the journal is a double column so ensure that the size of each table covers a column or two. A table that will cover a single column must be less than seven centimeters wide, while a table that will occupy the two columns must be less than 15 cm wide. Tables can have single or double space, with no vertical margins. The font size should be between 10 and 12 points. Notes must be 8-point in font size.
Figures
Graphs, images, diagrams, flowcharts and photos must be inserted into the manuscript as Figure. List the figures consecutively and insert them into the text after they are cited. A figure that will cover a single column must be less than seven centimeters wide, while a figure that will occupy the two columns must be less than 15 cm wide. The figures must be sent as complementary files in the original format that was used to create them (excel, power point, JPG, PDF, etc.). Make sure the figures have good resolution and are the right size to be inserted into the manuscript during the layout process.
Acknowledgments
Authors may optionally add an acknowledgments section at the end of the manuscript to acknowledge the collaboration of individuals and institutions during the conduct of the research and the manuscript.
Bibliographic citations and references
About the bibliographic citations in the text:
- Two authors: Their last names are separated by "y" if their article is in Spanish, and by "&" if it is in
- Three to five authors: the first author's name is cited followed by et al. and a period (et al.) since first citation.
Six or more authors: The last name of the first author followed by et al. is cited from the first citation.
The list of bibliographical references will be at the end of the article, in alphabetical order, with French indentation and will contain all the references used in the text, following the APA Guidelines, 7th edition. An author's bibliography will be listed in ascending order according to the year of publication. Please unlink the citations and reference list from the tool (Zotero, Endnote, word tool for incorporating references) you used to incorporate them into the manuscript. Citations and references should be in free text.

Policies for reviewers
The reviewer of INVESTIGATIO journal is subject to the following policies:
INVESTIGATIO reviewers may be teachers, researchers or experts in the journal's areas of coverage who hold a fourth level degree and are registered with the journal. All communication between the editor and/or co-editor and the reviewers will be done through OJS.
The assignment of articles for evaluation will be made according to the areas of interest reflected in the respective registration.
If upon receiving the invitation for review, due to lack of time or if the reviewer considers that the article does not correspond to his/her area of interest, he/she should decline the invitation as soon as possible, in order to assign the article to another reviewer.
If a review expires, and your communication of declination has not been received, a warning will be registered in your reviewer profile.
If a second review is due and we have not received your declination communication, we will proceed to remove your profile from the reviewer bank.
