China en África: Entre la cooperación y la competencia
Main Article Content
Abstract
Over the past decade, China has intensified its presence in Africa through investments in infrastructure, trade and strategic cooperation. This article analyses its tactics, economic and political impacts, as well as the reactions of other powers. Based on an academic review and case studies, it explores the benefits, risks and future scenarios of this relationship.
While cooperation has boosted economic growth, it has also generated debt and dependency, limiting productive diversification. Although it has reduced Western influence over Africa, the extractivist model benefits China. Africa must therefore adopt strategies for a more balanced, transparent and sustainable partnership, both financially, culturally and environmentally.
